the weekend started out on friday, oct. 29th with mommy telling me that i'm going to be big sister to a baby brother! i'm excited about helping mommy change my brother's diaper once he arrives! mommy said that he is about 8 oz. and 6 in. long at this time and she is about a week ahead of her due date based on the measurements (making it 3/28/11). i got to see the ultrasound pictures too!
then i had a weekend of halloween festivities from a school halloween parade, to a friday night MOMS Club halloween party and trick-or-treating. i attended a neighborhood scavenger hunt on saturday night with my babysitters, claudia and danielle and got lots of fun goodies! then, on sunday, we carved pumpkins, attended another neighborhood party and went trick-or-treating. i also got to stay up late and hand out candy to the other kids! i had lots of comments about my cute costume and even a few questions if my hair was real! i had a blast this weekend and keep asking if i can have some of my candy for every meal. mom told me that we don't eat candy for breakfast...i'm not sure i agree with this rule!

in other news, i can identify all the letters of the alphabet and practice "spelling" words by reciting each letter in the word. i have also been practicing rhyming words. i am still getting the hang of it but i can come up with some pairs of words on my own! i'm really proud of myself when i can do this. i'm not sure if i have mentioned it in the past but i know my street address and i'm also working on memorizing mom's cell phone number.
i was sick last week with a sinus infection and a horrible cough. i'm still coughing but it seems to be getting better. i got weighed when i went to the doctor's office and i weigh almost 26 lbs. i seem to be getting taller but i still can easily wear size 2T easily (and somtimes still 18-24 month clothes if they are dresses).
mom doesn't know how it is possible, but i am an even better talker now. i can carry on a pretty good conversation and i'm very into asking "why." i love to be tickled, take care of my baby dolls, scoop rocks outside and just be silly!! i a few weeks i'm going back to indiana to see my indiana family and go to a wabash football game. i can't wait and
