nev is now three weeks old. she went to the doctor on friday, february 8th and now weighs 7 lbs. 8 oz. and is 20 3/4 inches. the doctor is very pleased with her growth! this week she became the youngest member of the make-a-wish foundation logistics committee. she attended a three-hour planning meeting with aunt stacey, me and the rest of the committee for the make-a-wish gala ball in april. she barely made a peep the entire time. i was very pleased that we made it without any crying! she also went on a hour and a half walk yesterday with joe, phoenix, and myself and enjoyed being on the canal and going through the neighborhoods! it was a perfect day...75 and sunny...she is going to learn to love the outdoors since joe and i love being outside! in addition, we have started giving her a bottle of breastmilk on friday so joe can now feed her. he is doing her bedtime feeding and her bedtime routine so i can go to bed earlier if i want...it has been nice! today, aunt stacey babysat so i could go to the grocery store alone and she got to meet her "cousin zibby" (a cat) and "cousin duncan" ( a dog). aunt stacey said it was the easiest babysitting job ever since nev slept the entire time. also today, she went to her first jewish baby naming ceremony for her friend jessica berman (almost 5 months old). she wore her first dress and got to see her other friend, maya vogelson (almost 1 year old) at the ceremony for the first time and jessica's sister, courtney berman! next week aunt beth and uncle rob come for a visit! we are looking forward to it and i am looking forward to some extra help again (hope you are okay with that beth)!
