one week from today i will be 20 months old. i have been told i am looking more mature and that i am lengthening out. i also get lots of compliments on my curls! which, i have to thank mommy and daddy for! just a few updates...i learn new words everyday and mommy can no longer keep track of them. a few of the new ones include: fishy, koala, no way, soap, pj's, sausage, hot mama and big daddy!
i had my school pictures taken recently and my teachers told mommy that i did a great job and looked adorable! they also report that i am good at cleaning up and putting things back in their place. i have also bitten a few more of my friends though too. it is hard when someone takes something away from me!
i am very good at using a fork and spoon now. i still like all types of foods...spicy, sweet, salty, healthy, greasy...it doesn't matter! i love to have dipping sauces (ketchup, bbq, etc.) for my food too! i ate an entire pear the other night plus my other food...so my appetite is still really healthy! i have 2 favorite "blankies" that i carry around and sleep with and i still go to bed at 6pm and wake up somewhere between 6-7:30am.
this past weekend i had a dinner and ice cream date with mommy on friday night. then on saturday i had a breakfast date with mommy and daddy, then a bus tour (see photos), and a trip to the children's museum! i had my babysitting clan come over saturday night to put me to bed and babysit. i showed them how i sit on my potty chair (i have only used it once but love to sit on it daily). i also stand on my potty chair (it turns into a step stool) so i can reach the sink and brush my teeth. on sunday, aunt she she came over to play and we went on a walk and sang together! then, i helped water the plants at bappa and mai mai's house. i had to supervise mommy and pointed to plants that needed more water...bappa will be happy with me! i ended up playing in the water from the hose. mommy would let me run through the water and would spray me too! i also thought it was funny to try and drink the water as well! i was completely naked and was running around in the front and backyard! i had a great time! then i got to play with uncle mark and aunt she she for a little bit! as i would say "oh boy!" i had a great weekend!
