i've been busy over the past month so i better catch you up. i went back to indiana to see grandma peggy, grandpa tobey, uncle rob, aunt beth and my cousins, mia and elle. we all went to the wabash vs. depauw football game. wabash won, 47-0! it was great and i was a super duper cheerleader despite it being rainy! i had tons of fun with my indiana family during our short trip!
i also started gymnastics. i have been to 3 classes so far and i LOVE it! today i got to do some fancy tricks on the bar with some help from coach cindy! mom and dad were both impressed. i got to wear a hand-me-down leotard from cousin elle. it is shiny blue and it is my new favorite leotard!
we also had thanksgiving recently. it was a laid back day with lots of good food and family. as always, i pretty good at entertaining everyone and making them laugh. this holiday was no exception. the next day i got to be a part of the black friday shopping tradition. i got to go with mai mai, she she, and mommy in the morning for some shopping. i picked out some good presents! and, i got some new sheets for my bed with snowmen on them! my room is decorated for christmas and it feels magical!
i love to read christmas stories right now and i'm learning some of the christmas carols. my favorites include: jingle bells, we wish you a merry christmas, rudolph the red nosed reindeer and frosty the snowman. i also have watched some christmas specials on tv and have been mesmorized by them!
i also got to visit santa with my doggy, jet. we both got our picture taken together with santa. i was shy but i did tell santa what i wanted for christmas...toys and books. i love santa! mom and dad will talk to him when i'm not listening or following directions and i almost always change my behavior. i don't want to be on the naughty list! i am counting down the days with an advent calendar that has chocolate in it. i can't wait to open up a new door everyday and i understand that once all the doors are open that santa will come to my house!
today, we got our christmas tree. i picked it out all by myself! it is a great tree! i thought it was funny that they put it on top of mommy's car so we could take it home! while dad was putting the lights on mommy and i danced around to christmas songs!
in other random topics, i still weigh about 25-26 lbs. i have gotten taller but my waist remains pretty tiny. mai mai or grandma peggy have had to sew in the waist in a lot of my pants because they will fall off otherwise.
i love to chew gum, have named all of my baby dolls, "baby," i can give jet her commands (sit, lay down, and stay) and she listens and i had two new babysitters recently (sister and brother - carly and justin)! my best friend is still luci and when i talk my sentences have gotten more complex and longer. i love to make up songs to sing and my manners have gotten better lately!
