i am now 26 months old (2 years and 2 months)! i have been having a lot of fun lately despite continually going to the doctor now for a never ending cough! after 4 weeks i now have an inhaler which seems to be helping. no, i don't have asthma...just a neverending cough!
recently, i transitioned into a new bedroom and into a queen size bed! yes, i am spoiled! actually, daddy made the bed that i am now sleeping in. he made it for mommy before they got married. mommy said she wouldn't marry daddy if they had to sleep on the floor so he made her a bed. mommy doesn't want to get rid of it so it is now my bed and i love it! i also moved into a new bedroom and i am liking that too. all of my stuff is still in my old room but eventually, after a little bit of remodeling i'll have all of my belongings in my room again!
i also got to go to a spring training baseball game today! i went with mai mai, boppa, aunt she she and mommy! we saw the chicago cubs beat the cincinnati reds! go cubs! i had a great time and danced to the music, played and entertained everyone! i didn't even have a nap today and i was on my best behavior!
in some more sad news, i'm not going to have a brother or sister anytime real soon. mommy had a miscarriage at 12 weeks...so i guess i'll just have to wait a little longer for a sibling! we are all doing well and mommy told me, "things happen for a reason...so we need to move on."
some of my new skills include: knowing most of my shapes (circle, square, triangle, oval, rectangle, star, heart, diamond), putting my shoes and socks on by myself, getting undressed by myself and putting on my clothes (some of the time), helping make the bed, and clearing my dishes after eating. i tend to get very proud of myself for doing things on my own and will shout, "I DID IT!"
mommy and daddy are trying to make more of an effort to have "family dinner time" numerous times during the week. i really like sitting at the table as a family! i also continue to like practicing going to the potty! i still like to clean, wash my hands, and run! i love to dance, play ring around the rosie, get kisses from my doggy jet, giggle, boss people around and help out! mommy and daddy think i am pretty amazing (big surprise for a parent...of course) and tell me all the time they are so lucky to have me in their lives! i think i am pretty
