nev had her first overnight slumber party at grandma and grandpa black's house this past saturday! joe and i went to a local resort to celebrate our upcoming 8 year anniversary on august 12th! so, nev got to spend the night at grandma and grandpa's house. they said that she was great and crawling all over the house! she untied grandpa's shoes, played with grandma's meauring cups, and got to have a bath by grandma and aunt stacey! i think they wore her out because today when we went to pick her up she was napping and slept for 2.5 hours! thanks grandma and grandpa!
nev also hung out at aunt stacey and uncle mark's house last friday afternoon. boy, does "cousin duncan" (their dog) love her! he gave her lots and lots of kisses! it was really cute! "cousin zibby" (their cat) is still getting used to her and is not too sure about her crawling around. zibby and phoenix will have to hang out together as it seems neither of them really know what to make of nev!
this coming weekend, my best friend since kindergarten, diana stewart...yes, it has been that long, is coming to visit from boulder, colorado! we are all looking forward to it!
nev also has two new recent friends and potential playmates. chris and becky nieto had their second daughter, paloma james, on july 21st! dane and cindy fernandes had their second child and first daughter, devyn marie this past friday, august 8th! congrats to all of them!
