we took our first road trip this past saturday as a family. we decided to get out of the heat and go explore prescott, arizona. it was a lot of fun and it just so happened that they were having a festival downtown. so we got to check out the homemade food, arts, crafts, etc. nev was so good all day long. i think her favorite time was at the restaurant though. she was so busy watching all of the people and especially the 11-month old baby who was sitting at the table next to us!
nev has also started attending a 0-18 month old playgroup. there are about 4-6 other babies who attend too. it is fun to watch all of the babies interact and "play" with one another. nev was busy crawling around to all of the moms and trying to pull herself up on them. she really seemed to like it and was not afraid to leave my side at all.
she also went to work with me again and this time she was crawling all over the office. thanks to cathy miller, my team leader, who played "ball" with her so i could get a few things done. this weekend she also met two of grandpa cal's good friends, dave and mariann cullom. they were in town for their daughter's wedding and took some time out for a visit.
last, nev is now on a kick of shaking her head back and forth like she is motioning "no." as long as she doesn't understand what she is indicating i am okay with it! :)
