nev has been on her first vacation now. we are in crawfordsville, indiana, as i write this, where joe and i grew up. the herzog grandparents still live here and the black grandparents are finishing up packing before they move to phoenix this month. obviously, we had to get to indiana so nev had her first airport and plane experience. it started off well and i was "grading" the experience. so at the airport i had given the experience an A-...however, within the first 30 minutes on the plane we were down to a D. nev was so curious and so tired that it was not a good combination for a little while. she finally fell asleep on my lap and slept the entire plane ride. so, overall the experience was a B+!
while we have been in indiananev has had a lot of fun! she got to meet two of my best friends from elementary/middle/high school...sarah (thompson) james, and emilie (list) bowman. they both drove over to crawfordsville and spent the afternoon with us. it was a lot of fun! then the next day nev got to see her aunt beth again and meet her cousins, mia and elle. boy does nev like to watch and play with them! they have been SO helpful by playing with her, reading to her, helping change diapers and her clothes, assisting with baths and just hanging out! we are off to watch mia and elle at soccer camp....so ...TO BE CONTINUED...
