This past week Nev accomplished some milestones. She smiled at both Joe and I on Thursday (on separate occasions) and it was not because of gas! Since then she has been smiling A LOT! It is so sweet and precious...it makes my heart absolutely melt! She also has been pushing herself up with her arms during tummy time! She will then hold her head up and look around for awhile before getting tired and falling back down to the blanket! She appears to look so proud (at least to me) when she is doing this! Also this past week she rolled over on her own! She was on her side a little bit (so it wasn't completely from her tummy). I saw her do it and then she would not do it again so I thought maybe I had imagined it but Grandma Peggy confirmed as she saw it too on another occasion! Speaking of Grandma Peggy, she and Grandpa Tobey flew in town Saturday evening. Nev was showing off when they arrived as she was playing and smiling a lot! Grandma Peggy helped give her a bath and Grandpa Tobey has done story time with her at night! She loves being read too and will look at the pictures! Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Tobey have been so helpful cooking meals and babysitting so I can workout! Also this past week Nev got to meet one of Joe's college buddies, Chris Ellis. She really liked his voice and would look at him with big eyes! She loves to meet new people and hear their voices. Anyway, it was a big week last week and she is now 6 weeks old! This entire journey keeps getting better and better everyday!
