it is hard to believe that i celebrated my second mother's day yesterday. nev and joe picked out lots of pretty flowers for me based on the smell! we had a great time hanging out by the pool with aunt stacey, uncle mark, grandma marsha and grandpa cal. we also had a nice dinner at grandma and grandpa's house too!
nev now has 4 teeth! she finally weighs 20 lbs. and she is now sitting forward in her car seat! she also got her "report" card from school this past week. they report that she is doing very well and is very curious! she likes to investigate when she hears noises or kids in the adjoining room crying. they also stated that she is very talkative and loves to read and be read too! because of these traits they feel she has a potential future in journalism! when i asked if there is anything that she doesn't like they stated "sitting still!" that comes as no surprise!
this past week we were busy! nev and i went to the phoenix children's museum and had a blast! we even got to see some of the performers from the musical STOMP while at the museum! nev really liked that as she enjoys music and dancing! then we went to the zoo this past weekend with aunt stacey, grandma marsha and grandpa cal! boy did we have fun! and it seems that we saw all the animals at the right time as they would "perform" right when we got to the exhibit! some of the highlights were the otter, the monkeys, orangutans, rhinoceros, jaguar, and mountain goats!
