well, for the last few days when i go to get nev out of her crib in the morning (and sometimes after a nap) she is sitting in her crib! i tried to spy on her today and see how she does it but she spotted me before she got into the sitting position. it looks like she uses the crib to push on when she is on her hands and knees but i never actually saw how she does it! it must be magic!
she also has a continued fascination for her own toes...but the last few weeks she has also been very intersted in aunt stacey, grandma marsha, and mommies toes! i guess she likes the pretty nail polish!
nev used to be on a big kick of growling while flexing her arms straight out to her side (which she still does frequently) but lately she has been adding some other sounds to her "vocabulary." it is hard to describe what they sound like but i am definitely hearing different noises coming out of her mouth!
she is also good at playing by herself so i can get some things done around the house. i can either put her on the floor with some toys and she will entertain herself or put her in her exersaucer! she is so cute when i come back into the room and will get all excited and squeal! she also likes to play peek-a-boo now. she didn't quite understand it until lately and thinks it is funny!
this weekend we are going to go to the children's museum with aunt stacey and grandma marsha. she will also get her 6 month photos taken and get to celebrate grandma marsha's birthday on sunday by going out for brunch...yummy!
