tomorrow is aunt stacey's birthday....happy birthday! we got to celebrate with her on sunday by having brunch with the entire family! nev was making friends with the staff and other people at the restaurant by saying "hi" and "bye bye" to them. she has also started saying "please" or rather "peas" and has said "mo" when wanting more a few times. i am not sure if "mo" is a regular request/word yet!
nev got to have claudia babysit this weekend and cried when claudia left! claudia did a great job and it is nice to have her so close (almost across the street)!
in other news, nev will be getting tubes mid-may in both ears. after 3 months of ear infections the verdict has come down to tubes! she no longer has infections in her ears but there is still a lot of fluid in her ears so it is only a matter of time before they get infected again!
some other fun news...nev started swim lessons today. she is doing the infant swimming resource lessons which are pretty intensive for 4-6 weeks, five times a week. today was her first lesson and she did great! she only cried for half of the lesson! we then watched the little boy after her who is 18 months old. he is now able to float, flip from stomach to back, and kick toward the wall...very impressive! i am excited for nev to learn these things so she will be safer around water!!! we should have a fun summer ahead of us!
