wow...i know i say this a lot...but nev is even more fun lately! she clapped for the first time yesterday (september 13th) and claps for awhile and numerous times. however, when i try to get her to do it on command she won't do it...of course! she showed her new skill to grandma and grandpa black right away but was selective with dad and still has yet to show off for aunt stacey!
she is also really good at pulling herself up now and holding on with one hand. she is crawling up or down one step more easily (two at a time is still a bit difficult) and will do it over and over. she is very curious about textures and loves the "touch and feel" books. another fun moment is that she can press the button on her "radio" to get the music to start. she pushes it down with one finger and then will keep doing it over and over. i feel like i am watching her learn with each moment that passes...it is so amazing to see!
also, when going over to grandma and grandpa black's house she constantly looks for this doll sized, black, old, statue that they have displayed. we moved it yesterday to see if she would still look for it and she did! it is funny how fascinated with it she is! it is hard to tell if she is scared of it or if she likes it! she always remembers it though when we go over to their house!
