the best way i can describe nev right now is FUN! she is entertaining, sweet, constantly learning and just plain FUN! she has been putting the babies to bed at "school," throwing and playing with balls, saying "hi" to most people she meets and recently decided she likes to carry a purse around! she also likes to play with big legos and tries to lay down in her baby doll bed!
she got to see her uncle rob last weekend and was very puzzled by him! she kept checking him out and did not know what to think of him. i assume because he looks and sounds a bit like daddy!
she also has been sick recently (mainly last week). she had a viral infection and conjunctivitis in her eyes...both of which have cleared up. and she has a double ear infection...we go back for a check-up next week to see if they are cleared up. if not, we will try to make it through the summer (per doc's recommendation) before putting tubes in her ears.
her vocabulary has expanded and she now says: mama, dada, bopa (grandpa), shee shee (Stacey), Raah (Rob), hi, bye, baby, cat, no, ball, bubble, dog, done, duck, woo woo (woof woof), nigh nigh (night, night), num num (yum or give me food), whoa, wow, and yes. i may have forgotten a few words too. Not all of the words are completely clear but you can tell what she is saying (or at least I can)!
she has gotten in our pool once already while wearing her dress...so it was not planned. it was a bit chilly but she was just in the play area and didn't seem to notice. she was having fun throwing her socks around in the water! we can't wait for the water to get a little warmer so we can have even more FUN!
