i just had a great visit from grandma peggy and grandpa tobey! they came to play with me all the way from indiana and i had so much fun! i played hookey from school for a few days! i got to do arts and crafts with grandma peggy and grandpa tobey took me to starbucks for cookies and milk! i got to hang out with them for almost 4 days and i sure got spoiled! they brought me an outfit for my bitty baby and a matching dress for me to wear! i must admit we both look really cute!
in addition, i showed off how i ride my bike for them and ran races with grandpa tobey in the yard! i sang for them and counted to 24 for them too! grandma peggy is really impressed with my ability to concentrate, perceptiveness, and fine motor skills! they still think i am "easy" and that my demeanor is very enduring! (i sure know how to manipulate grandparents...hee...hee)!
in addition, i got to go to the world famous restaurant, matt's big breakfast with grandparents herzog, grandparents black and mom and dad! i ordered the griddlecakes and didn't want to share any!
i am really into going potty these days! i usually just sit on my potty and don't do anything but my teachers told mommy today that i have gone a few times at school! yeah me! within about 2 months my teachers want to start pushing me a bit harder with the potty training. i think it is such a fun process so i am excited!
other than that, i now go to bed around 7pm, so i am staying up later. jet and i are becoming really close buddies. i wrestle with her in bed, make her chase me and love to sit on her back and give her hugs! i can't imagine not having a pet to play with!
the last piece of exciting news, is that i am going to be a big sister! mommy is going to have another baby and is currently 10 weeks along in her pregnancy! her due date is october 5, 2010...2 days before daddy's birthday! i guess he will get an early present! all of our family is very excited. i told my grandparents and aunts/uncle by either saying "big sister" over the phone or by wearing a shirt that said, "i'm going to be a big sister." so far i am excited about the idea although...i'm not really sure i understand. i
