after going to the doctor nev has received her annual statistics...
weight - 23 lbs. 14 oz. (15 percentile)
height - 33.75 inches (45 percentile)
in addition, nev has transitioned to the 2-year old classroom. she has been doing great! one of the other little girls who transitioned with her isn't adjusting as well and nev has been holding her hand and giving her hugs to help out! it is pretty darn cute!
nev is getting better at singing the abc's, joe is teaching her to do simple addition (and she can actually do it if he holds up the #'s on his fingers), and she is much better at describing to me what she does all day at school. her ability to carry on a conversation has gotten much better and she doesn't have to be prompted with questions all the time! this morning she woke up and told me that she had "diaper rash" and "need(ed) a new diapey!" she can talk on the phone a little bit and requests to call mai mai and aunt she she sometimes.
she and jet have been having a great time playing together lately! nev likes to ask jet for "kisses" and also to "find neh-neh" (aka a combination of playing chase and hide-n-seek). nev has also been introduced to time-outs within the last 2-3 weeks. she mostly gets these for hitting and once she is done with time-out she will apologize and give the person a hug and kiss.
this weekend we are going to northern arizona to play in the snow for a day! it should be fun!
