activities!

nev has had some fun events this month.  she attended her first "kid" birthday party for cassie worth, who turned 3 years old.  nev was occupied with drooling while we were there...so i am not sure how much "partying" she did!  she also helped celebrate aunt stacey's birthday recently.  well, actually, she slept at aunt stacey and uncle mark's house while the rest of us had a nice dinner outside looking at the mountain! 

then today, aunt stacey and i took nev to the zoo!  she seemed to like the turtles, flamingos, zebra, and otters the best!  she was on her best behavior while we were there and even took a short cat nap at one point.  i will be posting some zoo pictures sometime this week! 

in addition to those activities, nev has been "supervising" the remodel of grandma and grandpa black's house.  she has been over at the house quite a bit and is happy with the progress so far.

nev continues to be more and more alert everyday.  she smiles so much and loves to talk!  she talks to herself in her crib and will just hang out and play in there too!  i usually wake up in the morning to her talking.  it is very cute! she also likes anything shiny and detailed designs!  her mobile continues to be a favorite toy and she likes to follow daddy's voice when he is in the room and look for him!
