nev had her first weekend away from joe and i this past weekend! joe was lecturing at the sonoma county art museum so i went along for a mini-vacation and to taste some great wine at the wineries. the weekend began on friday when aunt stacey babysat all day! it is rumored that they had a great time and went on a walk together and played all day long! i am not sure how i can live up to those expectations now! then friday night nev went to spend the night at grandma and grandpa black's house until sunday morning! yes, that is 2 whole nights! they reported that she was so much fun and slept and ate just like she always does! grandma marsha and aunt stacey even took nev to the greek festival on saturday so she could see all the people and the greek dancing! she even clapped her hands in time to the music when the dancing took place (well, at least that is what grandma reported...maybe she was exaggerating a little?)! overall, it was a success and since nev did such a nice job she is invited back to grandma and grandpa's for more overnights! hmm...where should we go next?
