well, nev turned 8 months old on saturday! it is weird but it is almost as if she turned 8 months old and decided that she could start feeding herself! she went from her feeding herself 2 rice puffs within each feeding to over 30 each feeding overnight! she is definitely getting the hang of it and her pincer grasp is so good now! she is proud of herself and sometimes will clap her hands after she gets one of the pieces into her mouth! phoenix is a little disappointed as she doesn't get as many to eat off the floor or off of nev's fingers.
she also has been able to hold on to something and walk a little bit while still holding on. she tries all the time to stand up without something to pull herself up on but it doesn't work. i know one day i am going to be watching her and she will just do it!
she has been a lot more clingy to me lately than in the past. joe thinks that she knows i am "mama" and will say "mama" when she really wants me. i am not quite convinced yet. she also says "na na na na" a lot more along with her usual "da da" "ba ba" and other sounds that i don't know how to write.
she has dropped her morning nap and pretty much gets one good nap a day with a small catnap before dinner time. she is really enjoying going on runs and is will start going to the pool with me again once the weather is a little bit cooler.
