wow...it is really hard to believe that nev is 7 months old! other parents always tell me it goes by fast...i guess they are right!
nev got to meet my best friend, diana stewart, this past weekend! "aunt" diana flew in town from boulder, colorado! "aunt" diana and i have been friends since kindergarten...so 25 years! nev really liked "aunt" diana and would hold out her arms toward diana so that diana would hold her. it was cute! i hope nev makes a lifelong friend when she is young like i was lucky enough too!
nev continues to crawl all over the place and really likes it when the refrigerator or freezer door is open. she will crawl as fast as she can and will make these crazed noises until she gets there! she obviously is very excited about food...who can blame her? she also has now crawled up and down a small stair at grandma and grandpa black's house. it took some effort but she was determined to figure it out!
she is a little bit more picky with her eating...she prefers vegetables over fruits! i am not sure why as i ate WAY more fruit while i was pregnant with her! anyway she will always eat the veggies but it sometimes takes some warming up before she will eat her fruit servings! also while she eats she likes to make motor boat noises with her mouth! it tends to get messy at times depending if she has food in her mouth!
she has started to make more sounds with her mouth (ma, da, ba, key) and can have some high pitched squeals sometimes too! she is also working on pulling herself up. she pulls herself up when using my legs or something else low to the ground but has not stood up straight all the way yet! it is fun to watch her learn to do new things. i am still trying to get her to respond to her name but she hasn't quite figured that out yet!
