it is hard to believe that 10 weeks has passed since nev was born. she has changed a lot since then! the 9-10 week transition was a little bit harder as she was more fussy than normal. i am attributing it to her vaccinations as she is now acting like her usual happy self!
this past week she had her first friend spend the night! actually, joe's college friend (andy anderson) came to visit with his wife , gretchen, and their one-year-old daughter, axia. they stayed with us for 2 nights so nev got to "play" with axia and have a "slumper party." we all went walked over to the park nearby and had a picnic lunch and nev watched axia on the swings! it was fun! nev also went to visit her cousins this weekend...duncan (a dog) and zibby (a cat). duncan enjoyed her company and nibbled on her ear a little bit and gave her a kiss. nev liked it and kept smiling! zibby ignored nev (like phoenix does) but nev got to see zibby at least!
nev is also sleeping from 7pm until 2 or 3am now. it is very nice! joe does give her a "dream feed" (as they call it in the books) around 10 or 11pm which seems to help hold her over longer even though she doesn't eat more than an ounce at that time.
this week joe's aunt kay and uncle rich are coming to visit and also grandma and grandpa black will be back! yea!
