10 months old is really a fun age! nev is imitating everything, says "uh oh" and i think does know who mama and dada are now. however, she does also say dada when looking at birds too...so maybe we still have some work on that one.
she likes to feed the ducks when we go for runs along the canal and likes to go on the swings at the park. that has been a new adventure lately. she will walk while pushing one of her toys and also walks holding onto our hands. she cruises around furniture but still is not standing on her own. who knows when she will let go and take a step but it feels like she is one step closer (no pun intended)!
in some sad news, our doggy, phoenix, passed away on november 26th due to cancer. she had just turned 8 years old on november 21st and celebrated with a nice long walk and some treats! nev loved to throw her food off her highchair tray to feed phoenix and would say "a da" when she would see her come into the room. phoenix was very patient with nev over the last few months despite not feeling well. nev and the entire family will miss phoenix but hope to rescue a special vizsla sometime in the future!
nev had a wonderful thanksgiving day! she played with grandparents black and aunt stacey and got to have some thanksgiving food! this past few days she has been eating the mashed potatoes, turkey, stuffing and green beans and LOVES all of it! great job grandma marsha for all the cooking! she is able to eat most foods now despite still having no teeth!
nev also experienced christmas shopping with grandma marsha and me this weekend. she did a great job spending a long time at the mall and helped pick out some presents for people! i think she is definitely going to be a pro at shopping...sorry joe!
