we attended the illinois wesleyan alumni luncheon at mccormick ranch in scottsdale, az. despite, daddy being the "young alum of the year 2008" nev was quite the star! she had everyone wrapped around her finger! and, she did a really nice job during the entire event!

finally, i get to ride in a helicopter!
i am fascinated with helicopters (or helicockers as i actually call them)! i was so excited that i finally got to ride in one and drive it all by myself! we flew pretty high into the air!

after the illinois wesleyan event we went for a nice drive around the valley with the jeep tops off! i fell asleep and when i woke up we were going for some appetizers at lon's at the hermosa...a great restaurant and quaint hotel!

i was enthralled with all the pretty flowers. and, i even picked one...oops! i loved our waitress and was charming all of the staff and customers too!

i went to maya's 3rd birthday party at the park! auntie amy had two ponies for us to ride and a miniature pony to pet at maya's party! it was a blast! i kept saying "nev turn?" because i wanted to keep riding the pony!

my friend, maya vogelson, is celebrating her 3rd birthday! she is in my class at school too! she has been so helpful in making me feel welcome in the new class! what a great friend!

i told mommy this pony wasn't as soft as the one i rode yesterday! i had another birthday party this weekend for my friend gavin. he turned 4 years old and we celebrated at enchanted island at encanto park! it was lots of fun too! i rode lots of rides!

i enjoyed the bumper boats for half of the ride and then all of the sudden decided i didn't like it anymore and started crying! i had daddy take me out of the boat early! maybe next time!
